Sefton Park Palm House Wedding Videography and Photography – Naomi & Pete

Jun 11, 2019

Sefton Park Palm House Wedding Videography and Photography | Naomi and Pete got married at the wonderful Sefton Park Palm House. It’s an octagonal, 3-tiered Victorian glasshouse set in the heart of Sefton Park, Liverpool. It’s such an incredibly unique venue, there’s nowhere quite like it.

The experience of being in there, surrounded by exotic plants, birds flying overhead and the incredible natural light coming through all that domed glass, makes for absolutely beautiful wedding films and photography.

Check our their wedding trailer film below – be sure to hit HD and turn up the volume 🙂

We asked Naomi and Pete for a few wedding planning tips. They pulled off such a balance of emotional personality during the day and incredible party in the evening, that we couldn’t help but ask for them to share some of their process with you.

‘We were friends for years before getting together as Pete was Archie’s karate coach.

Pete proposed at Bidston Hill in a really romantic setting with fairy lights and gazebo set up. The day after he took me to The Palm House and we fell in love with it. We booked the wedding the same day!

Planning the wedding has been so much fun with us being totally in sync with each other, knowing what we both wanted and making it happen.

We have tried to go for a relaxed yet elegant feel with lots of personal touches along the way. It was important to us that we also included the kids somehow. Our marriage gives them security and our commitment is to them as well as each other.

That is why we have included the sand ceremony before our vows. To represent that once we are all together, there is no coming apart.

Wedding Planning Tips!

Get everything organised and completed as early as possible so the last few weeks can be as stress free as possible.

Make things as personal as you can and remember you don’t have to follow tradition’

Naomi and Pete certainly fulfilled their ambitious plans, and much more. The elegance of the decorations matched perfectly with the grandeur of the setting. The architectural design of the palm house leading their decisions.

There were of course a couple of little surprises, one of which Pete had organised for the evening. After their amazingly choreographed first dance which had everyone captivated, Pete had arranged a live sax player. They played a house set with the DJ – and this really got the party started. Naomi’s face when he appeared from the bushes next to the stage was absolutely priceless.

We had a truly awesome time being involved in your wedding day and producing your wedding videography and photography. We can’t imagine a more fitting setting than Sefton Park Palm House. Enjoy your blog!
