Lytham St Annes Pre-Wedding Shoot – Emma & Kieron

by Jun 29, 2018Pre-Wedding Shoots0 comments

We’ve travelled a lot over the past couple of months shooting. All over the north west, down to Buckinghamshire, the midlands, the lake district, and even deepest darkest Yorkshire. It’s always amazing to take a moment to realise what’s on our doorstep, and to utilise what we take for granted in our home town.

Emma and Kieron met us at St Annes Pier for their pre wedding shoot, and as the mid-day sun glared down, instead of shying away from this traditionally unflattering light, we decided to take the challenge head-on to make this an awesome hard-light shoot. Luckily, this gorgeous pair were up for anything; we walked a fair distance down the promenade, under waterfalls, through the rocky gardens, and out onto the flats which follow the estuary.

We love contrast, colour, texture, and the un-obvious in our photography. We love to recreate how a moment feels through combining these techniques, and also to make it seem hyper-real at the same time. We’re not ones to take the easy path, so sometimes it takes us a few minutes to really get the essence of what we’re after. Emma & Kieron embraced our tenacity – and this trust is what allows us the chance to make something really unique.

We ended the shoot as the afternoon temperature peaked, excited for Emma & Kieron’s wedding later this year. Thank you SO much you two; scroll down to see what we got up to 🙂
