Hello! We are Katie & James of Fairclough Studios, a wedding photography and videography team, and Mummy and Daddy to toddler (and assistant in training!) Annie. We’re based in Lytham St. Annes, on the beautiful Fylde Coast.
We shoot weddings all over Lancashire, Cheshire, the Lake District and beyond, to beautiful destinations wherever our couples ask us to follow. We are all about the epic portraits mixed with real emotional moments. We love to produce emotionally charged cinematic wedding films and natural documentary photography. We absolutely love spending time in nature, adventuring whenever we can and putting our all into capturing that singularly electric atmosphere at the best party you’ll ever throw.
We’re drawn to gorgeous light, bright colours, deep shadows, rustic textures, the beauty and variety of nature, and our holy grail is a freaking awesome sunset. When we deliver your final photographs and film, we want you laughing again, crying again, like you’re right back there in those moments – even the ones you missed on the day.

an all-in-one creative hubby and wife wedding photography and videography team who get up close and personal with the most awesome party of your life.
Rather than a main shooter and a “second shooter”, we’re a proper team. Having shot over 300 weddings together, we’re 100% in sync with how each other works. We think that may have something to do with being married ourselves! We shoot your wedding from two different perspectives and both use our creativity in our own unique ways.
We love getting up close to the action, capturing all the laughs, tears, hugs, relationships and connections between people. Your fiancé’s face as you walk down the aisle, your first hug of congrats. The cheeky little giggles between the two of you during your portraits. Your friends and family having a damn good time. These are all the things that make up a wedding day. WE LOVE IT!
